I was craving some more yogurt that night, so I’m definitely planning to go back.
We ended up at a frozen yogurt shop a day after trying a new ice cream shop. I had no idea what to expect this time. I don’t think I’ve had frozen yogurt in at least three years.
My uncle came up with the idea. He wanted to delight his daughter and nieces with a fun outing before they returned to school this week.
Tutti Frutti is a self-serve frozen yogurt shop with 16 flavors and a variety of toppings for only .49 cents per ounce.
This shop is located at 1495 GA-20, McDonough, GA 30253.

Mya with her shades on.
The colors used in the interior décor of this shop were adorable. I failed to capture a toddler-friendly table and chair set they had, as well as a couple of high chairs for the little ones.
I turned around and Christian had a cup in his hand pointing at the yogurt machines lol.
On the left, we pick up a cup, and on the right, there are machines where we can choose our own flavors. Mango, watermelon, vanilla, chocolate, peach, cake batter, cookies and cream, and other flavors are available.
My flavors: Peach & Watermelon
Jada’s Flavor: Cake Batter
Ava’s Flavors: Chocolate & Cake Batter
After we’ve decided on our yogurt flavors, we added our toppings.
Mine: Boba & Strawberries
Ava’s: Chocolate Chips & Sprinkles
Katie’s: A mix of Chocolate + Fruit + Candy lol
Mya’s: Marshmallows & Sprinkles
Jada’s: Boba, Kiwis, Strawberries, and Cherries
The pricing were determined by the weight of each cup of yogurt and toppings. Our cost for all five of our cups came to roughly $45 total.
For a brief moment, I presided over the gathering and suggested we sit on the green seating, which was cuter than the orange. We all relaxed, joked, and ate as we all wondered what type of concoction Katie was eating lol.
Thank you for the treat, Uncle Punkin; we all had a great time. I was craving some more yogurt last night, so I’m going to see when I can go back.
Please let me know in the comments if any of my readers have any other frozen yogurt shop recommendations for us to visit, or if this post inspired you to try Tutti Frutti! Thanks for reading!
I’m not a big fan of ice cream. I almost never finish my ice cream, but this was an exception. I ate EVERYTHING.
The fact that we landed up here was a completely random occurrence. My son and I had just finished getting ready for the day. Every Friday, we make it a point to take the kids to Dairy Queen and the adults to Chik Fil A. It was Friday and time to eat!
Instead of eating ice cream from Dairy Queen, my aunt suggested we go to Cold Stone Brewery, which had been recommended by a cousin of ours. Sure, I said. I don’t eat ice cream very often, but it’s always interesting to try something new.
Before visiting new destinations, I like to be well-prepared. On the way, I looked up their menu online to see what they had. I explored their signature creations. I couldn’t decide between their “Chocolate Devotion” (chocolate ice cream, chocolate chips, brownie, and fudge) and “Surrender to Strawberry” (strawberry ice cream, yellow cake, strawberries, and whipped topping). I eventually decided on strawberry ice cream because I could get the waffle cone dipped in chocolate, giving me both chocolate and strawberry!

See us in the reflection? lol
According to their website, which is referenced at the bottom of the page, Cold Stone Creamery has been serving up the tastiest, freshest ice cream, cakes, smoothies, and shakes for more than 30 years, utilizing only the highest quality ingredients and, of course, their trademark process of creating your custom ice cream creation on a frozen granite stone.

We entered a long line. Of course, on a hot summer Friday, it’s long. There were at least ten people in line ahead of us. I only saw three staff (one out of the three wore a mask), yet everyone was patient as they worked rapidly to serve everyone. I’d estimate it took us between 10 – 20 minutes to get to the counter and place our orders.
Their signature creations.
I thought the orange color was so pretty.
We each got a small ice cream scoop. Mya chose a plain cotton candy ice cream with sprinkles. Ava placed an order for the Cake Batter Batter Batter (cake batter ice cream, cookie dough, and brownie). I placed my order for strawberry ice cream.
I thought this cone was so cute.
My icecream being prepared.
A small size ice cream costs $4.59, a medium costs $4.99, and a large costs $5.69.
I thought it was really cool that you could take their ice cream home in small tubs.
Thank you for the recommendation, Ashley! It was incredible.

Allow me to introduce ways to save you money that you would have spent on parking, meals, or admission fees.
Allow me to introduce ways to save you money that you would have spent on parking, meals, or admission fees. You can do these enjoyable activities by yourself or, even better, with family and friends! This list does not necessitate the purchase of virtual lessons, tools, or supplies.
At home, there is more to accomplish than just housework. You have to have fun! I hope this list gives you some ideas on what to do when you feel like you have nothing to do.
1. Color
With this one, you have a few possibilities. The first option is to take out your smartphone and download a free coloring app. There’s a lot to select from, and it’s a lot of fun. There are various programs that allow you to color by number and look like a pro!
The second alternative is if you already have some coloring books lying around. Find some crayons, put on some music, and relax. It would be ideal if you could find a peaceful, relaxing location for this. I prefer to sit by an open (screened in) window and take in the fresh air and view of the outdoors. If you want to kick it up a notch and have kids who don’t like to relax, turn on some loud music and giggle as they color purple over your orange flower lol.
If you don’t have a coloring book, the last alternative is to make one. Find some free coloring sheets online and print them out if you have a printer and printing paper!
Most of us, if you’re like me, don’t know much about the wonderful birds that live next to us every day. If you want to learn something new while having fun, this is the activity for you. Relax outside and listen to them; take a snapshot of each one with your phone to add to a collection or scrapbook for later. Then use Google to learn more about the birds you see. This is a creative, entertaining, and educational project. Birds are fascinating creatures!
There are numerous video chatting apps available. Why not have a video chat party with a bunch of family or friends, or both? You may make a video chat room on Facebook, a group chat on Instagram, or even a video call on FaceTime.
I love organizing trips. You should do it as well; it’s entertaining and keeps you motivated. It’s a unique idea that allows you to travel to different worlds and locations without making reservations. Go ahead and get those price estimates and activities together for that all-inclusive resort you want to visit next year.
5. Have a Spa Day
Take a peaceful bubble bath, one with salts, or one with the dissolving bathtub balls (bath bomb). Taking a long, hot shower is an option. Wash your hair and scrub your scalp well. Evenly file or clip your finger and toe nails, and if desired, add a coat of paint. Throw on a facial mask if you have one lying around the house for fresh, clean skin. A nice face cleansing soap can also be used as an alternative.
6. Create a Bucket List
There is so much to do and see in life. What would make your life so significant that you would feel as if you had lived it to the fullest? If you’re stuck for ideas, turn to Google. They have everything. One thing on my bucket list is to ride in a hot air balloon.
A recent trip we took to Disney world, it took planning!

7. Edit Your Music Playlist
There are a lot of musicians out there. There are so many songs you have yet to hear. There’s music for every mood. Why not add new songs to your playlist and organize them by mood? You can have uplifting tunes for when you’re feeling down, party music, and even a playlist of children’s music for when it’s time to play. Crank up that Cocomelon!
8. Play Video Games
Download an app to your mobile phone; there are a lot of free games to choose from in a variety of categories. There’s even cute little games for the babies.
There are many free games to play online if you have a PC. Steam is the primary PC gaming app that I suggest. They have free games, but you might be tempted to pay some money. It’s fantastic if you have a game console. I’m sure you already have several games downloaded, perhaps ones you haven’t played in a while. It would be great if you could utilize that console for party games or any multiplayer game where others could join in on the fun.
9. Play Card Games
This is perfect for if you already have cards in the house. This can be beneficial for toddlers. It would be educational if you could devise a way to practice with their numbers with them. Picture cards are cool too. The older children and adults can teach the younger youngsters how to play spades. Play a game of goldfish if you want to keep it simple. Don’t forget about the snacks and the music! And keep an eye on the babies with the cards since they like to eat everything. An alternative to all of this is to download a card game app on your phone, PC, or console. They have some that are multiplayer as well.

Never let your brother “borrow” your gaming console. It won’t come back.

10. Have a Scavenger Hunt
Taking pictures of objects around the house will be entertaining. Create a themed scavenger hunt! Take a picture of everything blue you can discover, and if you’re playing with others, whoever has the most pictures wins! Another possibility is to photograph an object in each color or shape. Also, an alphabet scavenger hunt, beginning with an object beginning with the letter “A” and progressing to “Z.” This can be a learning experience for the babies as they discover new objects, shapes, and colors.
11. Remember Little Joys
Fill a small jar or box with small notes about anything that you and others close to you enjoy. Things that make you happy. This is a wonderful method to learn about other people’s interests so you’ll always have something in mind if you want to surprise them with a present or a small gesture to make them smile.
12. Enjoy Virtual Trips
Travel & Leisure has compiled a list of places you can visit virtually, which is fantastic! There are numerous sites to visit. This is also ideal for the vacation planning task that I mentioned in activity #4.
Bonus: If you have a virtual reality headset!

13. Watch YouTube
I love to laugh. I enjoy watching amusing videos that make me chuckle. There are a lot of amusing videos to be found on YouTube. Find family-friendly videos to watch together. Allow everyone to choose a hilarious video in turn. Grab something to eat and drink in between breaks.
14. Do Yoga
There are free yoga videos available online. Hold a yoga session for the entire family. Grab your mats, everyone! If your baby is anything like mine, he will most likely refuse to cooperate in this one, but do your best. Don’t forget about the music!
15. Play Board Games
Party with board games! Music, snacks, friends and family, and a good time! There’s also board games available to download on consoles, make sure they’re free.
My definition of an entertaining YouTube video lol.
Christian was probably so confused.
The closest pic I have to a board game. Hey Ava!
16. Go for a Walk
A walk around your neighborhood is completely free. It’s always refreshing to get some fresh air. Ignore this one if you’re not comfortable walking around your area.
17. Draw
You must have some kind of paper, pen, pencil, or crayon available. Hold a drawing competition! Allow someone to select a theme or an object to draw. The best of the best wins! It’s always amusing to see the worse drawings, lol.
18. Dance
It’s very terrible that my kid doesn’t know how to truly vibe with the music. It’s entirely my fault that I don’t dance with him. I’m going to start, and I strongly encourage you all to do so. Let’s have a dance party! Find some toddler dancing videos for them and join in the fun. Find a dancing tutorial on YouTube for older children and learn an entire dance together! It’s a lot of fun. Try not to get frustrated having to rewind this one for the one who keeps messing up or missing steps lol. But that’s where you step in to guide them!
Bonus: If you have a “Just Dance” game available on console. It’s free uploaded videos on YouTube!
This is “us” walking the street.
He was really doing more crayon breaking than drawing.
For some reason, Christian prefers this to being in a real tent. I usually get some tall chairs, blankets, and books and stretch the blanket out high above. It could be a better approach, but I’m going the only way I’ve ever known. I also like to place a little lamp beneath it. If you have a little television or even a tablet, you can use it for amusement. To me, it’s a messy pastime that necessitates cleaning up afterwards, but if you don’t mind, go for it! It’s a lot of fun. You can watch movies, videos, have story time, or just chill and talk to each other.
20. Watch Movies
It’s great if you already have a subscription to a platform like Netflix, Amazon Prime, or HBO Max! If not, when you sign up for a new account, most platforms like these provide free trials that run 3 – 7 days. Many of you have Roku, which has a wide range of free movies. I suppose people upload free movies to YouTube, so check it out before it is taken down. Allow each other to choose movies for everyone using whichever way you prefer. Remember that everyone has various interests; it’ll be interesting to learn what others like. Even if you don’t think you’ll like the movie, keep watching because you could.
There’s also an app called “Rave” that, as far as I know, is available for Android and allows you to view videos from multiple platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Prime in a room with others, which would be a fun watch party. While the movie is playing, you can also communicate each other through the app via messaging, audio, and video chat. To watch Netflix together, everyone must be logged into the platform, for example, everyone must be logged into Netflix. What’s even better is that you can all log into the same Netflix account if you wish. So long as you’re signed in.
21. Paint
Paint can be made in a variety of methods, including using food, personal care products, and dye. I’ll write a post about it later. Feel free to conduct your own research and investigation. Otherwise, if you have some painting supplies lying around the house, go ahead and use them!
I need to figure out how to build a blanket fort like this.

Christian’s artwork I call “Shark Attack!” It wasn’t painted at home, but it’s still cute.
22. Read a Book
Children adore reading and story time. Take some time to read to your children if you have some books! Infants would be delighted to hear the sound of your voice. If you’re at a loss for what to say to them, read them a story! Find a comfortable area for you all to read and enjoy each other’s company.
23. Exercise
What better way to exercise than in a group? Play a fitness video on YouTube and follow along. It’ll be even great with a Zumba dancing video! Remember to stay hydrated!
24. Cook Together
This is a straightforward one. Instead of having one individual prepare a meal for the family, why not have a group made supper? It’s a terrific time for connecting, and the kids can receive hands-on experience with how to create a specific cuisine and how to utilize various kitchen tools. The toddlers can practice their motor abilities while the infants enjoy sitting and watching everyone else do things.
Me tired of reading this one book a million times, but it makes him happy.
A way to use an exercise ball while watching tv.
We wasn’t really helping, but it was fun to watch this instructive cooking lesson.
25. Declutter a Space
It’s not exactly “fun,” but if you have the time and desire to get it done, it’s a worthwhile endeavor. It would be enjoyable to do it with family. Ignore the one who isn’t putting forth as much effort, lol. To make it more engaging, add some music. My aunt’s pantry was the final place I decluttered outside of my bedroom. I gathered her two daughters and we worked together to clean it in order to surprise her while she was upstairs. It was a lot of fun cleaning and laughing with them as we debated what to throw out and what to keep.
26. Listen to a Book
Outside of audible, I’m not aware of any subscriptions that allow you to listen to books being read to you. I’m sure there are others, but we’ll have to dig to find them. For new subscribers, Audible also offers a free trial period. It will be enjoyable to listen to a book being read to you while doing housework or stretching/yoga.
Thanks for reading!
I hope some of these inspire you to try something new or to immerse yourself in something enjoyable for a while. If you have any more suggestions, please put them in the comments section below!
